You were fortunate and unfortunate at once. The CPU wasn’t taken along by the board. Unfortunately, the CPU failed completely. It’s a disappointment since the board itself appears solid; it probably didn’t harm the chip unless this problem comes back after installing the repaired processor.
Just wanted to confirm there wasn’t a solid cause for the failure so I can prevent it from happening again.

I wouldn't suggest this. For tasks with minimal core or thread count, Ryzen needs higher voltage to run efficiently and improve performance. This adjustment won't harm your processor or cause any damage. The design considers this requirement. Standard power settings won't affect a CPU negatively. It seems the issue might be with the component itself.
