Did you adjust it to 1.34? Please try 1.35 or 1.36... my RAM won’t boot with anything below 1.36v using manual settings, but XMP works at 1.35v! P.S.: Also test 2933mhz... Ryzen doesn’t like "3000" at all.

From now on it's perfect with XMP 3000, particularly vengeance LPX. I'd consider using 2933 since the motherboard might struggle with the multiplier for 3000.

Today I tried several things: activated A-XMP with Profile 1 DRAM frequency set to Auto (expected 3000MHz based on XMP P1), adjusted voltage manually to 1.35V, but it didn’t respond so I raised it to 1.37V without success. Then I changed the frequency to 2933MHz and checked voltages from 1.35V to 1.4V, still no results. Corsair’s site mentions compatibility with 3000MHz at 1.35V—any other advice?

set frq to 2933mhz voltage around 1.36 and keep the original timing values from the sticker on the RAM—it won’t automatically adjust without XMP. Honestly, Corsair is mistaken; this RAM is very unlikely to run at 3000MHz with a Ryzen 3600 without some major tricks.

I checked this setup now. Someone suggested disabling Memory Fast Boot; it helped initially. I set XMP Pr1, adjusted DRAM frequency to 2133MHz and auto voltage, and it functioned. Raising the frequency to 2400MHz worked again, but then it dropped back up to 2666MHz before failing. I tried raising the voltage manually from 1.35V to 1.4V, but it didn’t succeed. It seems there might be compatibility issues with my R5 or MOBO chipset limiting it to 2400MHz. My next test will switch to a 2T command rate, as recommended for better performance with the same motherboard and Corsair 3000MHz kit.

Progress is good, keep going. Just tweak timings a bit and stay under 1.4v—don’t exceed it. At this stage, adjusting timing is the main thing. I’m not the most experienced here, but from what I know, RAM overclocking starts with basic settings, voltage around 1.36V, and let the motherboard handle itself (memory training). It seems to work fine, especially with Corsair RAM. 2933 was a solid starting point. No problems at all with two sets.

Already understood that staying under 1.4v would be fine, at least according to what I found. Could you clarify a bit more about this topic or point to another resource that explains it? Thanks!

New tests show success with 2400MHz and 2666MHz at 1.35v. Adjustments needed: lower timings for higher frequencies.

There was an unusual issue with some 400-series AMD boards where DDR4-3000 didn’t work, while DDR4-2933 did. The cause seems related to clock frequency ratios—something above your pay grade. Have you tried enabling A-XMP and then manually adjusting the speed to DDR4-2933?

I believe you've already checked it, but I'll attempt again. Setting A-XMP to Profile 1 and adjusting the DRAM frequency to 2666MHz might resolve the issue. Let me know if that works!
