I recently replaced my motherboard with an Asus Z170-A. After reformatting the SSD and installing a fresh Windows version, everything seemed to work fine. When trying to download Discord, I encountered issues—advanced settings blocked me, and even IE let me access the site but Discord wouldn’t update. It also stopped Razer Synapse from letting me sign in or set my DPI. Since Discord uses Chrome, it refused updates. I checked forums for solutions, but nothing resolved the problem. I suspect a hardware issue, possibly related to the latest BIOS or Lan drivers. I’m also unsure if using a VPN helped, as that didn’t resolve the core problem.

Verify your clock and clock settings. Ensure the motherboard’s reset CMOS is functioning properly; otherwise, the system will revert to an outdated time, rendering many SSL certificates ineffective until corrected.

The timing was nearly exact, which was the initial action I took. Since there’s no method to automatically adjust it on Windows 7, I had to manually retrieve it from a server to achieve the closest result.

Yes, you're asking about your BIOS settings.

My system clock and date are all aligned, but there was a timing issue with my Windows time originally—about an hour or two off. I might be moving to Windows 10. Honestly, it seems Windows 7 could be causing these kinds of problems.

The question asks for a precise definition of "CA," but the context isn't clear. Could you clarify whether you're referring to a specific term, abbreviation, or concept?

It appears to improve gradually. At first I didn’t enjoy it much, but the team seems to have made progress, and now I don’t mind it as much.

A CA or Certificate Authority is an organization that issues digital certificates. These certificates verify the identity of a website. Each one asserts, "I, Certificate Authority XYZ, confirm this new certificate belongs to Company/Website ABC for a specific duration." The certificates are checked by tracing their chain of trust (some can be signed by others) up to a trusted CA whose certificate is stored on your device. If the CA certificate isn't present or is marked invalid (such as expired), your system will dismiss it and display an error. Use the Windows search command "certmgr.msc" to locate the relevant folder. Do you also have the Comodo CA certificates?
