Hey there, I’ve noticed a recurring problem where my internet drops briefly on Ethernet or WiFi connections, then reconnects. It’s frustrating because in certain games like DBD, penalties increase with each missed connection, and now I’m getting banned for over six hours whenever this happens—even though I didn’t mean to disconnect. I’ve checked online, but no solution seems to appear. It occurs whether I’m using Ethernet directly into the router or just WiFi, and it’s been happening for about two weeks. It’s really affecting my gameplay! Any ideas or fixes could you suggest? Thanks!

Restart the router, check if it improves... Consider switching the router or provider if issues persist...

I previously used that one of the first Google options I discovered during my search. It appears to function across most devices except mine.

Consider updating your device drivers first. It's unlikely both Wi-Fi and Ethernet will fail together, so I suspected the router was involved. Another possibility: all connected devices might be consuming too much bandwidth at once. Avoid streaming while someone is watching a movie.

If the issue lies with hardware, consider using an adapter—USB to Wi-Fi or USB to Ethernet.
