Your computer's hard drive occasionally fails to function properly.
Hello, Your computer would occasionally freeze while running, leading to BSOD messages such as storage service exception, memory management issues, critical process died. Sometimes it wouldn’t recognize your hard drive or even fail to boot completely. I believe the problem stems from drive activity causing instability. It keeps attempting to read/write while the platter moves in and out, but functions normally otherwise. I checked the crystal disk and confirmed the drive is in good shape. Windows memory diagnostic showed no errors. I also reinstalled Windows, but the issue persists. Could it be related to the drive, SATA cable, power supply, RAM, or motherboard? Please advise.
Pagefile storage on disk is linked to a Windows memory leak. When RAM is ample, turn off pagefile. But your hard drive appears to be struggling. Create an image backup right away (Acronis works well) and begin looking for a suitable SSD that meets your requirements. Performance will improve significantly. If you acquire the new drive before the HDD fails, clone it—just ensure it isn’t identical.
