I purchased a Ryzen 7 5800x CPU that fits my motherboard (B450 tomahawk max). I forgot about a BIOS update, so I removed the old CPU and installed the new one, but it won’t boot now. After resetting the CMOS it still doesn’t work. I’m unsure what to do next.

Ensure only the CPU is removed and verify its pins aren't bent or broken. Have you missed any wires? Does it power on but fail to boot? Are there any LED indicators on the right side near the 24-pin power cable lighting up?

You mentioned a few pins were bent. Appreciate the help! The Bios was refreshed and a new CPU was added. Thank you!
