Check the PSU, case, cooler, and fan count. See if there are any recent BIOS updates.
It seems the issue might be with the power supply unit itself. I believe it's related to PSU, as I found that my focus gx850W requires the minimum power. When running Rainbow Six Siege, my PC draws excessive power and shuts down. I also notice a strange wheezing noise coming from the PSU.
Your PSU is roughly six years old based on my observations. From what I've seen, issues tend to appear after that timeframe. Pairing a 7800 X3D with a 3070 likely moved the GPU and possibly the PSU as well. If it's newer, a PSU problem is still unlikely but not impossible. An 850W rating should suffice, since a lack of performance would have been detected earlier.
It's not that old—probably around three years max. I bought a gaming PC build about six years ago, but I've made most of the changes myself. Today I was at the store chatting with an employee who said it should handle everything. I got some fresh paste and plan to reattach my CPU cooler. Apparently, the fans were mounted on the wrong part of the heatsink, which might explain the overheating. Hopefully that’s the reason for the high temperatures too.
