I was just gaming when the computer froze with strange icons on the screen. After turning it off and on again, it wouldn’t boot properly—only lights up. I took out the SSD to check if it would start via BIOS, but I’m not sure what to do next.

The RAM module appears to be functioning correctly after the reset and installation. It’s not necessarily a bad stick, but ensure it’s properly seated and the system recognizes it.

It would be the main hypothesis. I would test both modules and all RAM slots to determine if the issue lies with the components or the board's slot.

This situation has occurred before, but I’m not experiencing a PC shutdown. Could there be an issue with my RAM slots or the compatibility of my RAM modules? Since I purchased the RAM sticks separately, it’s possible there was a mismatch.

Always prefer running matched sticks. As mentioned, you should test each stick individually in its RAM slot to pinpoint the issue. To be certain, does this system have a GPU?

Sure, I'm just cloning my SSD for backup. My RAM sticks seem to have issues every time I connect them.
