Hello, my computer began shutting down during gameplay, as if the power was cut. Initially I suspected a bad wall socket, but after replacing it the issue persisted. Believing it was related to the power supply unit, I noticed a shock when touching a screw on the case, though I couldn't reproduce it. Plugging in USB devices sometimes causes it to turn off. I reviewed the Windows event log and found this entry: Event ID 41 – The system rebooted without a clean shutdown. Additional details include: no clear error codes, no bootloader prompts for devices, and no signs of power button activation. Sometimes when starting up, the PC freezes in the bootloader, insisting on connecting a device because it can't locate the operating system. My hardware includes an SSD NVMe, a Ryzen 7 2700 processor, an ASRock B450 Pro GPU, and two 8GB RAM sticks. The PSU is a CoolerMaster MWE 550 Gold. I'm unsure which component is faulty—it could be the PSU, the HDD, the NVMe drive, or even the motherboard. How can I determine the exact problem?
The issue is caused by a bluescreen linked to hardware failure. Have you used software such as Prime95, memtest86 or Aida64 to test specific parts and identify the problem? Because it occurs during USB and hard drive testing, the motherboard seems likely to be the source.
