I assembled my initial computer about two weeks ago, and it now randomly shuts down. The screen goes dark and then turns back on. During gaming sessions, it restarts three or four times in a row without warning. Anyone familiar with these parts can help identify the issue and suggest solutions?
XMP support on AMD can be tricky with Windows settings. Check the Event Viewer to understand why the system shuts down or restarts. If sleep mode is active, ensure your BIOS has power failure settings enabled so the Event Viewer can capture the event. Review the logs for details—there’s a lot of information to help with troubleshooting. In games, the issue might stem from background processes being disabled in game mode.
