You recently installed a new Asus router and are experiencing connection issues. After connecting your PC via Ethernet, you noticed no signal and the router reported nothing connected. When you tried using your laptop directly on the router, it worked fine. Your motherboard model is an ASUS ROG MAXIUS XI. Consider checking the Ethernet cable connections, ensuring the port matches your motherboard's specifications, and verifying that the router is powered on and broadcasting correctly.

I completed the setup process, and all devices are able to join the Wi-Fi network. My PC connects through Wi-Fi, while the other laptops use Ethernet.

Does your computer attempt to establish a connection at all? It checks if it's powered on and simply replies with "no connection."

It functions because of a direct link to the internet source. Have you experimented with another port on the router? You might also face driver-related problems.

I've checked every port and none connected properly. Using the laptop works fine: it connects perfectly to the modem, but not to the router.

If you haven't tried this, consider it.
