Hey, you're using a powerful setup but still facing streaming problems with Warzone. It sounds like your graphics card might be struggling under the load, even at low settings. Checking your RAM and ensuring it's fully supported by your OS could help. Also, consider updating your drivers for the i9 9900K and the graphics card. If you're using a separate SSD for C:\ and M.2 drive for Modern Warfare, make sure those are optimized for gaming. Running OBS in admin mode can also affect performance—try switching to normal mode if possible. Let me know what you find!

Use NVENC with your 2080 super. It’s probably running h.264 CPU encoding, which isn’t ideal here. If you must, turn on quicksync. Otherwise, NVENC is the better option.

What resolution, frames per second, and bit rate are you using for streaming? Which software do you rely on? At what game resolution do you play? How fast is your internet connection and what’s your ping?

You shouldn't focus too much on frame rate when streaming. It's about sharing content, not testing your system.

For a game such as Warzone, h.264 works best when the CPU is powerful enough to handle the processing demands.

Using H.264 impacts CPU performance in games. NVENC performs equally well as H.264 on older cards and is recommended as the preferred option for streaming, especially with Turbo-based cards or modern ones.

I'm working with NVENC settings. Base resolution is 1920x1080, output resolution is 1536x864, bitrate is 6000Kbps. I use OBS for streaming. I suspect my internet speed or latency isn't the problem because other games run smoothly, like Apex Legends and FIFA. That's not the main issue. My streams are unstable with frame drops, and I need this to improve. I've spent a lot on high-performance hardware, but friends with weaker systems still stream without issues.

That's cool! I wasn't really following the latest updates until the GTX 780 came along.

Adjusting bitrate to around 3500kbps for testing works well. 6000 might be too much for near 720p. Internet stability affects frame rate, and some issues appear only in Warzone. Updated October 21, 2020 by mr fobs

I tested the game in-game while Task Manager was active and my stream was on. It consumed nearly full GPU usage and about 70% CPU load.
