You're facing a serious issue with your PC. The error message indicates a critical system problem that requires immediate attention. Have you considered checking your hardware connections and ensuring everything is properly seated? Also, it might help to run a full system scan for malware or corruption. If the problem persists, contacting a professional technician or using advanced recovery tools could be necessary. Let me know if you need further guidance.

Do you have another machine where you can relocate the storage device to access its contents? Before purchasing another SSD, create a bootable Ubuntu or Mint USB and test if the drive appears during a Linux boot. You may retrieve your files and reformat it for a fresh Windows installation. Unless you suspect the disk is malfunctioning, consider replacing it with a new SSD.

I have a laptop that I’m currently using, but it isn’t ideal for transferring files. When I start up Linux, will I be able to move files to another drive connected to the computer, or is it meant for a remote drive? I’m not sure if the drive is malfunctioning—I’m not familiar with Linux and this can be confusing. Thanks!

I set up Linux and was able to access all my storage devices. I removed the "BCD" file from my disk and reinstalled Windows from a USB drive. When I tried to rebuild the boot sector, it reported an error saying the system device couldn't be found. Now I'm planning to reorganize files to reinstall Windows on one of the drives.
