I recently purchased a new PC and attempted to play CS2, but the screen would turn blue every time and I was redirected to Windows. Your issue is being addressed.

So you are experiencing a BSOD ( Blue Screen Of Death )? What is the error code that comes up if there are any, what does it say? What are your full system specifications, be as specific as possible.

When attempting to run CS2, the screen displays a muted gray and the game fails to launch despite being active. The issue seems linked to graphics settings or driver problems. Consider checking your display calibration and updating your graphics drivers. If the problem persists, running a download might help identify further compatibility issues.

Could the RAM be too fast as well? If the settings exceed safe limits. The AMD Ryzen 5 4500 only allows 3200MT/s for RAM.

I've reinstalled the drivers, but they're still not working. I'm seeing many failures in the device setup manager and other parts of the system.

Open Device Manager. Look for any entries containing an exclamation point. If found, click on properties and it should show an error code. You can then look up that code online.
