I never saw anything like this before. I tried connecting everything, but the motherboard’s RGB stays off even though it powers on. When I press the power button, there’s a click from the PSU, but nothing happens if I disconnect the CPU connector. All the other parts turn on, but something’s wrong. It happened with three different motherboards, two CPUs, two PSUs, and even two RAMs. The specs are ROG Strix B550-XE EVGA 850 Ryzen 7 5700X. What’s going on?

Incorrect PSU cables? Faulty power strip or wall outlet? Incorrect build environment? Stuck fan preventing system startup?

I don’t think about exorcisms much. For your computer, it seems you’re dealing with a few parts: PSU, motherboard, CPU, RAM, and GPU. Make sure everything boots properly—if not, check each component one at a time until you identify the issue. Good luck!
