Your computer isn't starting up as expected.
You can reset it using a jumper, but since none is provided, you may need to follow the instructions on the device itself or contact support for assistance.
You can try removing the jumper first, then proceed with the reset. If that doesn’t work, let me know what device you’re using so I can help further.
Check the instructions, it should explain methods for resetting the CMOS aside from changing the battery.
Could your power source have completely failed after the computer kept restarting endlessly?
Technically it is but very improbable that it will occur again, including the GPU. After you reset the CMOS, put everything back in. If you wish to re-seat the CPU, I don't really understand why turning on XMP would lead to crashes since the IMC on the 9900K is quite reliable and that's another point I find silly. Just plug the power cable for the PSU and test with one connection at a time. Good luck!
I’ll give it a shot, but I feel like I should remove the CMOS battery, keep the power button pressed for half a minute, reinsert it, and then turn it on.
