Your computer isn't starting up.
I was operating my PC solely through Discord, but it shut down instantly without any input. Now only the RGB indicators on my RAM illuminate, and nothing else happens. I have a PSU tester ready, and my PSU appears to be functioning properly. The power switch on my motherboard lights up as well. MotherBoard - Aorus Z270x Gaming 7 PSU, Corsair RM750x GPU, Aorus 1080 RAM, Gskill, Tridentz 16GB. In the video I attempted to power it up just with the motherboard connected; it briefly activates before stopping completely, causing a brief blip and then full shutdown.
Recheck everything and secure it properly. Updated on December 6, 2023 by leclod
There could be many causes for a sudden shutdown. I’d first disconnect the power cable and unplug the 24-pin connector from the motherboard. Press the startup button on the PC a few times, then reconnect everything and see if it boots. If that fails, remove the GPU and test whether the system starts without it. If not, take it apart and build it outside a case using just the board, CPU, and one RAM stick to check for functionality. Then reassemble gradually, testing each component one at a time between them.
The PSU tester indicates the 24-pin connector isn't functioning properly.
