I installed the motherboard and power unit from a HP Pavillion p7-1803t into a Compaq Presario SR1803WM. I also reused an HP CD drive to convert the old Compaq, removing its IDE ports and switching to SATA connections. The HDD is a 3.5-inch SATA drive, 80GB, connected and booting Windows XP. I attached a DVI to female HDMI adapter to the motherboard and used the same adapter on two monitors. After connecting both devices to the board and powering it up, I noticed no signal on the monitors. Occasionally the PC would shut down briefly during testing. I think the OEM power supply might be insufficient.
