I installed a GPU for testing and monitoring temps, yet after powering off the PC, restarting it, and tweaking BIOS settings it still lacks video output. I took out the battery from the BIOS, removed the RAM and cleaned the components and slots, took out the processor and cleaned it too, but video remains absent. I’m unsure what’s causing this and need the system to function quickly. CPU specs: APU, Athlon 3000g; RAM: Patriot Viper, 8GB and P NY, 8GB at 2666MHz; dual channel PSU: SNP550-HS; SSD: generic 240GB motherboard; motherboard: MSI A320M A PRO MAX. Video file: VID_20240322_225558.mp4
Check if the onboard video is connected, as the 3000G includes built-in video which may have been set to use it.
The battery for the CMOS chip was removed for approximately one month.
Ensure the system is powered down by switching off the electricity or disconnecting it from the mains. If necessary, discharge the unit by pressing the power button once the conditions are met. Once the battery is removed, allow it to sit uncovered for approximately ten minutes before reinserting it.
I understand you're not a fan of your power supply, that's fine.
