Hi, so I am currently building a custom pc, and am at the phase where I test if everything work out before I put it in the case. I connected everything to the PSU and when I powered on the pc (by using a screwdriver and connecting the pwr- and +), I don't get anything on the screen. However, my ram and my GPU do light up, which indicates that there is power in the computer. Also, I am doing a custom water cooling loop, which means currently there is nothing but an empty water block on my cpu, apparently it is safe to boot up about 15 seconds without a cooler, but I try not to go more than 10, I really don't want to break my cpu. I have only tested it twice, on two different monitors, and I don't want to make many mor test because I don't want to risk damaging my cpu. The specs are Motherboard: B650M Aorus Elite AX CPU: 7950X GPU: 4090 MSI Gaming Trio Ram: 2X16 DDR5 6000 tridentZ5 from G skill. Do you guys have any idea what might be the cause of this problem. Thank you so much in advance for the help, I am kinda stressed out, ngl.

I encountered the same issue; consider reinstalling the RAM and resetting the BIOS. I'm sure that will assist!

I reinstalled the RAM and tried again, but only the RAM indicator lit and I wasn’t able to access anything.

Checking if another attempt is safe depends on your setup. With just an empty waterblock, ensure your CPU is compatible and stable before proceeding.

Consider adding the stock cooler and adjust accordingly, then repeat the loop.

Rebuild intervals for Ryzen 7000 models may last 3 to 5 minutes during training, which helped prepare the BIOS and contributed to the stickergate involving Asrock due to adhesive issues not detaching properly.

Initially starting a fresh system requires all parts to communicate with the BIOS. The BIOS learns from those components and devices, often needing 3 to 5 minutes before displaying results on the screen (essentially machine learning). A good approach is connecting your pump to the CPU waterblock externally, allowing it to run for about 5 to 10 minutes to see if a post appears.

I highly recommend trying an air cooler or an AIO compatible with AM5. This will help verify the results before committing to a complete hardline setup, as you'll face significant challenges if you attempt to dismantle everything later.
