You recently assembled your initial computer and noticed performance issues during startup. The machine functioned properly initially, but became unresponsive after a few days. The problem appears to recur intermittently, with occasional access to Windows followed by freezing. Assistance is appreciated.

It might be related to stability problems. Check when these freezes occur. Run a Cinebench r23 test to see if the system handles the initial moments. Share your hardware details and any additional information you believe relevant.

I'm having trouble accessing CineBench on time. I've tried various time settings, but my cursor doesn't move and I end up restarting everything again.

I’m checking your background information now. Would you like me to review your bios? I can also attempt to boot from a Windows live USB to see how it behaves. How did your Windows setup originate? Was it a complete reinstall from a USB or an update from the previous version, or did you clear the drive before installing? If you don’t have any data on the storage device, it might be best to perform a full OS installation. Make sure to install fresh and use Rufus to transfer Windows onto the drive. You could also run Memtest86 on your memory modules to identify any issues. A fresh Windows install should resolve most problems, and updating your BIOS while testing would be helpful.

In troubleshooting mode, run checkdsk c: and then proceed to Windows if successful. After that, install Samsung Magician and verify if a firmware update is required.

Use the monitor connected to the motherboard for testing.

I'm currently on vacation, so I can't use the USB method. I installed Windows by running the media installation tool on a laptop and then installing it on a 32GB USB drive. I've attempted to erase the previous setup and start fresh, but it didn't seem to resolve the issue. I plan to try Rufus and MemTest once I'm back.

You can't reach the troubleshooting mode because clicking it causes it to freeze again.

Check for hardware issues by removing and disconnecting all disks. Run the system in BIOS using only the CPU and RAM to see if it remains stable. Disks can cause instability in other cases.
