I've got a 4060 laptop with an i7 12700h. When I play Fortnite, my FPS drops from 500 to 40. I'm confused because I haven't changed anything except my drivers. After updating them, it got a bit slower, and now performance is terrible. I'm using the lowest settings and performance mode. My PC is only a few months old. Anyone know why this happens? Any suggestions would be great!
FPS decline may result from old drivers or background programs. Also, ensure Windows is current. 2. Attempt to reinstall and refresh graphics, audio, and chipset device drivers.
