I built my PC about two months ago, but it runs sluggishly. It boots up fast—around 15 seconds—but after that it feels sluggish, particularly during gaming. Steam is installed on the HDD (SSD used as boot device), and some games don’t work properly, like FC3 and JC2. The hardware specs suggest it should handle most titles well, yet performance remains poor. Can I improve this without replacing parts? Here are my details: CPU Intel core I5-4690K (not overclocked), motherboard MSI gaming, 8GB Corsair Vengeance RAM, GTX 970 SSC+, case Corsair Carbide SPEC-01, storage WD blue 1TB/Kingston HyperX 120GB PSU Seasonic M12II Evo 750W. Please help me make it faster!

Your system's CPU temperatures aren't visible here, but RAM usage is at 3.5/8. Everything else seems normal.

Focus mainly on the loading speed, but also the frame rate is an issue. I'm also having trouble with responsiveness in games.

Close unused applications in Task Manager, select "Startup" tab, and turn off all items you don’t require or understand.
