What kind of cooling system is active? It could be the cooler or the PSU cooler causing the noise, and I really want to make sure it’s not the GPU.

It seems like a disorganized fan, you might want to verify that all your fans are aligned and connected correctly.

When I stopped using the GPU in Boinc Task Manager it didn’t show any GPU activity, yet the sound kept playing. The power supply unit I don’t recall its exact model being an MSI one, but turning off the fan didn’t stop the noise.

Do you own an HDD? If so, I think it might be failing soon. If not, maybe a fan is about to stop working.

Initially the GPU was off in Boinc Task Manager showing no GPU usage, yet the sound continued. The PSU model isn’t clear but it’s an MSI unit. When I pressed the zero fan button, the noise persisted. After checking the BIOS and setting fans to maximum, the sound disappeared. Also, after moving some files, the noise stopped.

It might be a coil whine, or alternatively a hard drive issue—do you have any in your system?

I just mentioned that the hard drive didn’t produce any noise, and the coil whine seems a bit unusual, though I’m not entirely confident.

You seem to have identified something interesting. After running the AIDA64 stress test, you noticed no unusual sounds and determined it wasn't the hard drive. The only program that could achieve this was BOINC. Thanks to anyone who can help clarify this!
