That's correct.
Let me know if you need anything else.

Shut it down. Do you have a 60Hz display? There are valid reasons to keep Vsync active, but for this task it’s best to disable it.

I just tried it in Far Cry 5 and the temperatures are 50°C on the GPU at full power, while my CPU is running at 60% usage and 60°C. I don’t understand why. Maybe because Discord was open, but with four cores it’s definitely a problem.

Your system uses an i5-9400 with six cores, but VSync restricts the frame rate. Are you seeing the expected performance?

Normal temperatures, have you checked if VSync is turned off? It limits frame rate, not sure how it functions on high refresh displays, and how effectively does 1070 work with 60Hz monitors using VSync? If it locks at 60 or matches the monitor's exact frequency

The i5-9400F features six cores, while your model is the Core i5-9400 without the F variant.

it just stays at 60 even though i lower everything to low resolution at 1920x1080. when i run it at full settings, i get around 24 fps instead of what i expect. my cpu is working at 60% load, but sometimes it hits 100%, while the gpu is also at full capacity with normal temperatures.

It remains a six-core processor.

I confirmed it has 4 cores, not 6 as I assumed.
