My computer failed to start two months ago, so I waited until I could purchase a power supply issue. After trying the paperclip test, the fans worked, then I reconnected it and it started again. I ran a Haeven benchmark to simulate load, but it abruptly shut down. When I pressed the power button, an error appeared: "Over current detected on your USB device system will shutdown after 15 seconds." Even with just my keyboard and mouse plugged in, it turned off, and the cables were unplugged, yet the warning remained. I suspect the PSU might be defective. Specs include i3-12100f (stock fan), 2x8GB 3200MHz RAM, T-Force, MSI B660M-A-Pro DDR4, no Wi-Fi, Kingston NV1 500GB, RX 6600M, CV550. If you need more details, I’ll reply as soon as possible. Edit: During another paperclip test, the fan stopped and resumed even though the pin wasn’t loose or misaligned.

I think you should clear everything first, pause for a moment, then restart without any USB devices attached. If it works without issues, proceed to test each device—keyboard, mouse, headset, etc.—and/or check the motherboard USB ports one by one. Also, take off and reinstall the front panel USB connectors from the motherboard. This should help identify the problem or fix it. If the issue persists, the BIOS or motherboard may be faulty; consider updating the BIOS or seeking professional help.

I'll check the front IO since some power cables seem damaged. I'm not sure if it's my motherboard because it's new and I haven't used it heavily yet.

I also updated my post after discovering an issue that might be due to my PSU's fault.
