I don't understand how your computer behaves in Fortnite. FPS can drop to around 50 or lower in the endgame with just 15 players, and in Creative it reaches a high of 130. I'm unsure what the exact cause is except possibly uploading graphics to Epic, which matches performance in low settings. In Battle Royale and No Man's Sky it stays around 200 FPS in low, but 130 in Ultra. There seems to be a gap of about 90 points between Epic and low, but that doesn't match what you see. I think the system should handle at least 144 FPS in Fortnite, which is why I keep my 8GB RAM slot together.

What hardware are you using? The memory might be the issue, or the CPU could be affected given its appearance.

Hello, a single RAM stick is not ideal and can significantly impact Ryzen performance. Have you checked your CPU and GPU temperatures?

CPU usage peaks between 40 to 50 percent at 50 to 60 degrees, while GPU remains consistent. At 60 degrees, GPU demand rises sharply, pushing game performance to 100 percent.

It’s really challenging to grasp exactly what your issue is. Please try to express it more clearly. If you’re running up to 200 fps in Black Ops 3, it seems your PC is functioning properly. Although 50 fps in Fortnite might feel low, the lack of improvement when lowering graphics settings suggests your CPU is limiting performance—not your GPU. If you’re using a Ryzen 3 processor, those frame rates could be perfectly normal depending on the situation. Additionally, Ryzen benefits from fast RAM; if your RAM is slow or only one channel is used, it might be restricting your CPU’s ability to perform at its best.

You may consider installing another stick of RAM.

Consider adding a second stick of identical 8GB RAM to test its impact. 3200 Mhz should suffice for speed. Verify in BIOS that your RAM operates at maximum capacity. Ensure the XMP profile is activated. The Ryzen 2600 should deliver over 50 fps in Fortnite, for certain.
