Hello, Your computer seems to be behaving oddly, freezing unexpectedly and shutting down. I’m not sure what’s causing it—it doesn’t show any viruses or malware, and the temperature isn’t a problem. For more details, please respond to this chat! Your system specs are listed in your profile. Thanks for your assistance and have a great day! Smile

Perhaps a reckless driver was the only thought that crossed my mind at this moment...

Hey! I've reinstalled Windows several times before, but it keeps having problems. It's been happening for about half a year now, and things have gotten much worse recently.

You just discovered you have two RAM modules in your PC—both from the same manufacturer, but one is 8GB and the other 4GB. Is that an issue?

Combining RAM modules occasionally causes issues, making it tricky to pinpoint the cause. Try removing one module and observe if the problem resolves. When did these issues begin? Were any changes made around that period? Is your CPU overclocked? Have you monitored the CPU temperatures during these events? What type of power supply are you using?

Hi! The issue began six months ago. I replaced the CPU cooler a few weeks back. It seems it’s not the problem. The computer freezes unexpectedly, and my power supply is an I-Tec PowerGamer 700W.

You can log the temps to file using something like hwinfo and check them later. But I have a strong suspicion the power supply is at fault, never heard of this brand, I don't see any reviews for it and after googling I saw some people complaining about stability under load or even the PSU dying. Even the spec looks bad, 50A divided between 2 12V lines and combined 12V load rated at 484W in supposed 700W.

You believe the PSU is the issue. I ran a RAM test, stability checks, and after about ten minutes, the computer froze, requiring me to power it off using the front panel button.

It might happen, but you're unlikely to be completely certain until you check your PC with a more efficient power supply.

Sure, I'll test various PSUs and let you know the results.
