All systems are down, not just Microsoft. The update services are broken, and I couldn’t remove a game from the Xbox app. It seems everything isn’t functioning as it should.

It began when I attempted to play Sea of Thieves, but the game indicated it was outdated. Updating didn’t work since there was no download option, and the system halted completely, refusing to check for Windows updates.

You might attempt to launch the service manually via services. A restart on Windows should have done that as well.
