Warning: I’m quite unaware of this situation.
I’ve been experiencing this problem for some time now and decided to seek assistance. I’m using Windows 11.
My system tends to crash when running certain games or attempting to record them.
In BlueScreen View, the error code displayed is 0x00000124, which I believe indicates a non-repairable Windows error.
I suspect this might be related to my CPU, as the presence of pshed.dll+10c0 suggests an issue with the AMD processor I have.
Upgrading my chipset drivers in May helped reduce crashes, although it didn’t fully resolve the issue.
I don’t recall when the crashes began; I first noticed them around March, though they might have started earlier.
On December 4th, I encountered malware and managed to remove it, but it could still have caused damage.
At one point, I cleared my temporary files in June, which eliminated the minidump files.
The CPU model is an AMD Ryzen 7 5800X.
I’m uncertain if this is the only problem, as I’m not very familiar with the details.
I’m considering possible solutions like resetting the CMOS, restarting my PC, or replacing hardware.
I hope the minidump files help someone analyze the issue and guide me on what to do next. The attached file includes three minidumps, one from yesterday. Thank you for your attention.
Hey there,
Here are your full PC specifications. We can offer better advice then.
Consider running DISM/SFC scans:
https://support.microsoft.com/en-au...em...6e85d4094e
Test it and check if it improves things.
Are all system drivers current? Not just the chipset, LAN, etc.
Which BIOS version are you using? Yes, clearing CMOS might help.
Don’t reinstall Windows unless you really need to.
I’ve tried DISM/SFC several times throughout the year.
I bought this computer in 2021.

Power Supply: I remember when I bought this computer(Alienware Aurora R10) from dell there was a 550W option and a 1000W option and I chose the 550W one.
I hope I didn’t miss anything.
I just redownloaded Dell Support Assist and it cleared 24Gb of space and optimized files. It tested the hardware and said it was fine.
Checking the Dell website, there is a bios update of critical importance that says it was released on May 06, 2024. When I check what bios update it is, it says 2.8.0, which is what my computer says I have, but the date it says is March 27, 2024 which is confusing.

these videos helped fix many issues in my games and resolved broken drivers.
On 7/2/2024 I followed beyondlogic’s guidance and also updated my Nvidia Drivers. I compared the game drivers with the studio drivers and found the studio drivers more stable, so I switched to those. I didn’t play anything that day.
On 7/3/2024 I started playing the game I was using when I crashed previously. I managed to play for several hours without any crashes.
On 7/4/2024 I chose to test recording by trying to record a game. After two minutes it crashed again. I restarted, ran dism/sfc scans, and restarted once more. Then I adjusted the recording software settings. Since I wasn’t playing or recording, it crashed once more. I repeated the process several times, changing settings each time. Eventually, after another crash, I uninstalled the recording software. After that, I played games again to confirm that 9/3 wasn’t a coincidence. I didn’t experience any crashes throughout the rest of the day.
In conclusion, the advice from beyondlogic and switching from game-ready to studio drivers resolved my problem. Now I just need to find better recording software. I assumed the recording issue was similar to the game issue, but it turns out the recording tool itself was faulty.
Thanks to everyone for the suggestions and advice. You can find the minidumps from the recording failures in the same folder on Dropbox using the link from the first message. The new folder is 070424.
