I researched further and discovered that the catalyst can't be installed because Windows 10 includes some built-in drivers during setup, similar to Linux distributions. I used the AMD clean uninstaller to remove everything and finally got the catalyst installed. However, I encountered some strange issues—seemingly, the chipset drivers were also uninstalled, which caused my lock (number, caps) and headlights to stop working. This laptop keeps having one problem after another, and I’m starting to feel more like a Mac user.
Visit the Lenovo website, locate your laptop model, and obtain the chipset/ACPI drivers.
I attempted that, but I'm facing an issue with picking the correct drivers. CPU-Z indicates my chipset is K15 IMC, while the AMD site lists only 6,7,8,9 series options—mainly for desktop computers.
