Hello, I own a Lenovo G505 laptop with an AMD APU A8 4500M and an integrated Radeon HD 8570M with an 8GB Kingston HyperX card, dual channels. I’m facing issues with Windows setup. After a few months on Windows 8.1, I planned to upgrade to something more modern, but after installing it (still running fresh), the first time it restarted I was prompted to revert to an earlier version. It said I couldn’t do that because there was no admin account. I tried booting from the desktop and passed the error, but after logging back in, the screen went black. Eventually I went back to Windows 8.1 and it worked fine. Now I’m trying to install Windows 10, but I can’t get the graphics drivers to work. I’ve checked everything—from CD installation to automatic detection—and still getting “Failed to load detection driver.” I manually selected the driver on the AMD site, but it still fails. Anyone have any ideas? I’ve never been so frustrated with drivers.

Do you have a Lenovo restore disk available? Perhaps we can attempt to install your operating system from there.

Yeah, Win 10 isn't done yet. All the drivers need fixing and more bugs should be resolved... it seems like every new Windows release keeps rolling out.

I have access to free Windows from my university, so I didn’t purchase a laptop with Windows.

Typically hollow sections are preferable for flesh, but for a metallic object like a dangerous laptop, an FMJ would be more suitable.

I mentioned nothing helped the Wi-Fi connect. Linux Mint and Windows 10 are functioning without drivers, while Windows 8.1 isn't compatible with the included Wi-Fi card drivers or any third-party ones.

with a more formal tone, most laptops feature a small button adjacent to the power button or power port. turn off the device and press that button—it may allow you to revert to a factory reset.

I'm sourcing the drivers from a specific location. The WiFi card is a particular make and model.

There seems to be an issue with the detection driver during AMD GPU installation. What steps can be taken to resolve this?
