It seems my computer might have been infected with a Trojan because someone altered my system32 files. I can't perform a factory reset, download anything, or use the command prompt. I'm not sure if I joined the right forum.

Turn off the device and disconnect it from any network sources. Malware may remain after a Windows reinstall. Would you consider starting in safe mode?

Create a bootable USB and prepare to format the storage device. If that option isn’t available, discard the drive and purchase or connect a replacement.

I’m having trouble getting into safe mode since the system doesn’t recognize my pin code, and I don’t have my Microsoft password saved.

It's time to replace your old hard drive and install a fresh Windows version. You can recover your Microsoft password by visiting 'forgot password' and following the instructions. Just make sure to do this on another device.

They will merely update your storage device or discard it, then install a replacement, billing you extra charges along the way. If fortunate, they might retain your information prior to completely erasing the drive.

It’s GGs because it meets your budget constraints. You don’t need to spend on a new SSD or Windows license.
