Your computer frequently restarts unexpectedly and the Event Viewer displays an "Event ID 41"?

Initially, I didn’t realize when it occurred since I was away from the computer with Steam open and returned to the desktop wallpaper. I noticed something unusual and checked the Event Viewer for Event ID 41, suspecting a Windows update issue. I left it as is. On the second occurrence, I updated every driver I could find, hoping it would resolve the problem (audio drivers, vBIOS, etc.). This has been happening three times now, making me anxious about potential component failures. It’s been just over a year since I acquired this PC. Could this be related to a failing CPU? I recently replaced it last year after the i9 13900K stopped working, and I’m unsure if the second CPU is also malfunctioning.
Specific details:
- Model: GIGABYTE Z790 UD AX
- CPU: i9-13900K
- GPU: RTX 4090
- RAM: 32GB
- Storage: 500GB SSD, 1TB SSD, 4TB HDD
- Power Supply: EVGA 1300 GT 80 GOLD
- BIOS: Updated to the latest version with microcode patch.
All GPU and driver updates were completed successfully.
THE ISSUE SEEMS TO ARISE AFTER UPDATING THE BIOS microcode, Leading The Cpu To Operate Under Light Load And Attempt To Enter Power-saving Mode, Which Then Causes It To Shut Down. The recommended fix involves Accessing the BIOS And Disabling C-STATE 8 And 10, Though This May Not Resolve The Problem For Everyone Using A Gigabyte Board. I Had To Search Extensively On Google For About Seven Hours To Find More Information. Intel Hasn't Confirmed Whether This Is Still An RMA Case. It Appears To Be A Common Issue, Occurring When Games Or Browsers Remain Open With Minimal CPU Activity (under 10%), Possibly Pointing To A Hardware Failure.
Yes, I found it thanks to some users on Reddit. It was a really annoying few days trying to fix things. I had to enter the BIOS and turn off C8 and C10 settings. I also forgot to update the post, sorry about that.
i discovered this only after about 7 hours of searching on google.
