Your computer experiences unusual performance drops.
Whenever I played a game—even simple ones like Tetris—I would experience strange lag spikes. My PC would show only about two frames per second, and the audio would become completely static. When this happened, both my CPU and GPU were at full capacity. I own a Ryzen 7 5000 series with an integrated GPU, and I’ve had this laptop for some time without these issues during normal gameplay. The screenshot below shows the CPU and GPU stats while I was playing Minecraft; the FPS drops significantly between row 13 and 19. Updated January 4, 2025 by Mr.asm16
It could be overheating or the drivers are outdated. Another chance is your RAM is reaching its limit. I'm not sure, but these are just some possible reasons.
