I’ve been using my computer for roughly two years now. During online split fiction sessions with my partner, the game would frequently crash due to GPU memory issues, resulting in a low-level fatal error. I performed a clean driver installation. Currently, I have two monitors—one Dell and one Asus. Each time I power on my machine, the Dell screen briefly flickers with a color that appears to fade in and out three times before stabilizing for about two minutes. After that, the screen turns black again. It still receives power signals, but when I restart the monitor and turn it back on, the same flickering occurs, followed by a blackout after two minutes.

I’ve tried multiple driver clean installs and rolled back to earlier versions, yet the problem persists. I’ve also changed the cable type from Display to HDMI and tested various GPU ports. This issue seems specific to the Dell monitor and not the Asus one.

Current specs: CPU – Ryzen 9 5900X, GPU – Nvidia 3080 Vision, MOBO – Gigabyte GA B550I, PSU – Evega 850 Gold (3 years), RAM – Corsair VengenceRGB PRO DDR4 3200 C16 2X16GB, SSDs – 980 Pro NVMe PCIe M.2 2 TB and 970 Evo Plus 1 TB, running Windows 11.

CPU cooler: Corsair iCUE H150i Elite Capellix Liquid CPU Cooler – White Chassis, Cooler Master NR200P.
