My Google Chrome stopped working again. I wasn’t sure what caused it this time—I was playing Black Ops Multiplayer and when I finished, my browser wouldn’t launch from the taskbar. Also, links in Skype or other programs didn’t open properly. I’ve tried all the solutions from that thread I posted earlier, but this time nothing helped.

No, I didn't do that. Let me know if you need help with something else.

I prefer standard Chrome over Chromium for better compatibility and performance.

The same result occurs, which is the consequence of employing a beta version.

Sure, I've already attempted it. It took about ten minutes for a link to load before stopping again.

I'm using standard Chrome. I attempted the beta version previously but it failed, so I removed it and reinstalled Chrome, which caused the issue. This time I was just playing Black Ops.

I fixed it a week back. It functioned until I opened a link in Skype, after which it stopped working again. Any suggestions? EDIT: Now it works only if Chrome is already running; that’s manageable.
