You're seeing better performance now thanks to your new AMD 5600 XT. The upgrades you mentioned—your Ryzen 5 1400 and the 8GB RAM—are helping, but there are still factors limiting your frame rates. Check your GPU settings, ensure your game is using the highest possible settings, and verify that your system isn't overclocking too aggressively. Also, consider whether your monitor's refresh rate matches your display capabilities.

Identified the key problem. Dual channel significantly boosts bandwidth, and faster RAM also helps. Affordable DDR4 chips at 3000MHz or above are budget-friendly and offer notable gains.

Obtain a 2x4 or 2x8GB 3000MHz RAM set, and you’ll notice a substantial boost in performance.

Also verify that your monitor isn't set to 60Hz while using VSync enabled.

To reclarify the below...for you. Two boosts are valid... The Dual Channel aspect of the pipeline,... & Faster Frequencies for the pipeline.

It's surprising how much RAM speed affects Overwatch performance. Switching from 2133 to 3000 can boost frame rates by around 100 FPS.
