I updated my Asrock B450 Pro 4 Mobo from P4.20 to a newer BIOS version. I purchased a 16 GB Sandisk USB drive and installed the downloaded BIOS file from ASRock’s website. After placing the USB in the correct slot, I verified it was FAT32 formatted. When I restarted my PC, the BIOS still reported it couldn’t detect the image file. Someone suggested using a 2.0 USB port, but my motherboard only supports 3.1. Please let me know if you need further assistance! Thank you!

Verify the BIOS configuration to ensure "Legacy USB Support" or "CSM" is activated. Use only the rear USB connections for connectivity.

I’ve started using both the compressed and uncompressed versions on my storage. I also adjusted the drive settings manually to confirm it’s not a BIOS-restricted optimization. Plugging in the USB should work with any rear port.
