I've used headphones at the front and speakers at the back, but mixing them hasn't helped much. I noticed that connecting something to the back makes the front emit a steady audio tone—hard to describe exactly. My microphone is also in the back and isn't working properly.
I also attempted to turn them off. All Realtek sound cards vanished. When I turned them back on, they came back but nothing changed.
Are you sure? It sounds like you're upset about losing your PC.
Other suggestions are available, I'm still committed to trying.
