Typically when a PC struggles with an overclock, it reverts to the standard settings. Regarding your RAM question—did you purchase 3200 units or are you attempting to upgrade to that amount?

It’s not guaranteed to work, but you haven’t tried it before. Flashing to an older BIOS might damage your PC if you’re unsure. Consider testing on a different machine first.

I wouldn't suggest using an older BIOS. The Ryzen 2000 series memory controller isn't reliable. I'd aim for stability at 2933, set the DRAM voltage to 1.35 and SOC voltage to 1.1.

You're using G.skill Trident Z RAM on a system with 3200MHz RAM. The two sticks you removed match the specifications of the 2x8GB sticks you have in your PC.

I wish there was a way to video stream me changing my bios and showing you this. Because I've even set it lower than that to try to get it to clock to anything higher then 2133mhz.

I switched to the two sticks labeled for Ryzen 2 chips, but the issue persists. Anyone with this board who’s managed to overclock it knows something.

Glad I didn't go back then. I'm really stumped here. Are there any lines I could call and pay money to to help me figure this out lol. I wanna learn how overclocking works in regards to ram.
