Hi friends. While I was playing The Medium game, my CPU reached 63°C in one scene (typically near 52-53°C). Since this PC was built in 2016, I haven’t touched anything except upgrading the CPU to 4.5GHz. I opened the case but was feeling a bit drowsy from alcohol, so I didn’t want to risk overheating the motherboard or its header. I removed the low-noise adapter to let the D-15 shine, but I was unsure about installing it properly because the connector’s wires are color-coded, while the header on the motherboard has only four pins. Should I leave it as is, keeping in mind that temperatures can hit 63°C?

It's perfectly fine with the 63c.

Adjust the clock speed to around 4.8 or 5g for more typical temperatures between 70-80°C. Temperatures under 60°C are mainly for very high loads over 1.5v, otherwise it's just a sign cooling isn't being used efficiently unless you're targeting efficiency over 4.5g, which doesn't seem necessary unless you're pushing that limit.

When adjusting manually, focus on safety and avoid risky levels unless necessary.

This CPU operates safely up to 4.5GHz across all cores, keeping temperatures low. I’m uncertain about the exact voltage setting—possibly around 1.4 times the reference voltage, though I’ll verify tomorrow.

On my 10900KF, sometimes after shader optimization the CPU usage spikes to 100% and drops into the low 80s.

No need to worry about eliminating the L.N.A.

1.4v works well, these chips can handle up to 1.42v daily without any problems. 1.45v is okay if you're going hard, but it's not advisable. Honestly, your temps are great and comfortable.

It's quite cold today. Let go of any concerns.
