The main point clearly states the issue, I'm really struggling here. I recently got my first 4K monitor—a Samsung LU32R592CWRXEN. Linking it to my PC worked fine, but it only displays 1080p. When I adjust the resolution in the display settings, it freezes for a moment before reverting automatically. It appears to drop out of signal completely during that time. I've tried several fixes: changing resolution via Adapter properties, using the Nvidia Control Panel, and even disconnecting my other two 1080p monitors. Still nothing changes. I'm puzzled about what I might be doing wrong. The monitor uses HDMI, which should support 4K, yet it doesn't seem to work. My system specs are: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit, AMD Ryzen 5 2600X, 16GB RAM, GTX 1070, Be Quiet Dark Rock cooler, Pure Power 10, 600W, Asus ROG Strix B450-F with updates.
