You're considering reselling your I5 6400 and a cooler bundle for $350, plus shipping to balance the cost. To maximize value, aim for a price that reflects both components fairly—likely around $250–$300 depending on condition and demand.

For the cooler, a real 6400 box adds credibility and appeal, but if you're short on budget, using standard packing material with a bit of bubble wrap and labeling can still work well. Just ensure it’s secure and clearly marked.

What type of motherboard do you own? If it isn't Z170 or Z270, consider upgrading to an i7 6700 (not k) because overclocking won't be possible.

You can find a 3600 CPU and motherboard package at a lower price.

I own an H110 and it isn't meant for overclocking, but I'm looking for the K model since it comes with a better built-in clock than the non-K version.

I don't want my Windows to be OEM because it would be more costly.

To make it sell for 70-80 dollars and bring the overall price down to 280-270 dollars.

You can purchase OEM-keys on platforms like Kinguin for around 14€. I've acquired several keys myself there.

I’m not keen on doing that either. If I bought Windows again, I’d likely stick to retail since sometimes I have to contact Microsoft support and they just hang up because OEMs don’t get assistance.

I’d get paid twenty dollars and feel good about it, honestly.
