I also had a 5800X that failed after three weeks while watching a YouTube video. AMD fixed it without cost. Apparently, Zen3 AM4 processors had more failure issues.

It’s possible the PSU might target just the CPU, depending on its configuration. If you replace it with your old Ryzen, you’ll avoid affecting another CPU.

AFAIK that is a decent quality power supply, so I wouldnt worry about that.

I changed the CPU and hooked up all the components to the updated power supply. It looks stable now, I plan to upgrade the CPU next week. Appreciate the assistance!
