You mount the disk onto the hard drive (I believe I haven’t done this in a while, but from what I recall it’s the standard method) and you insert the CD only when you wish to play. It’s similar to installing games on the Xbox One—you need the disk to enable playback.
I just keep the disc in my ODD because I really don<|pad|>, it's not for anything else XDDD
