Hello! So I installed Windows 8 a while ago after much thought about whether upgrading to Windows 10 was worth it. I chose not to because I didn’t want the trouble of drivers and other issues. I’m currently away from my PC, but I’ll be back in two days before the Windows 10 release. Everyone suggests I should get a free upgrade, but I don’t have that activation key. I called my dad, who said he got it long time ago, so I was concerned. Here’s my plan—please let me know if it makes sense. 1. Check if the Windows 10 installer is available 2. If yes, save it and wait, or reserve and switch to an RTM ISO for a full update 3. If not, try using the command prompt trick to force installation, or switch to an RTM ISO and update from there. I’m also unsure if upgrading to the RTM will unlock Windows 10 from my older Win 8.1 license. I’m a bit anxious about this. I really want Windows 10 eventually, especially as a free upgrade. I know Microsoft stopped activating Insider previews, so I’d have to find another way to temporarily activate it. I’ve heard about KMSPico, which might let me update to the full edition once it’s released. Thanks. I’m feeling a bit stressed. 😊
Sure, I tried to build my system recently. I installed Windows 7 and was trying to find the flag, but it wasn’t there. I think you might need an update that isn’t marked as required, though I’m not sure which one. I’m still searching for the correct version, and it’s a bit stressful since they’ve been pushing it.
Verify the presence of the update using the provided link. Run the script and capture its screen for review.
It seems the service requires registration via a small Windows icon.
It's complimentary during the initial year, but the Windows button remains a hold.
