You can connect any compatible Wi-Fi router, but ensure it has enough power capacity and you’re using a stable connection. If power drops, the device may lose the link and require a reset.

You seem to be unsure about the goal. Are you looking to improve internet signal or set up a power solution?

Estimate the area needed for installation, list your existing modem and router models, share your upgrade budget, and specify your country of origin.

i was thinking about setting up a hotspot in a bedroom where there’s no Wi-Fi signal, using a budget-friendly router from Puerto Rico.

Several third-party routers can function as dedicated extenders. Netgear is a common example. The key is linking them with a cable from your main router to the desired location for better coverage. This should clarify things.

Yes, but I faced similar problems before when my main router went down during a power outage. I need to reset the link between the devices each time that happens. Is there any way to prevent this?

It depends on the router's software. Typically, you shouldn't need to reset it once it's set up correctly.

Sure, look for a budget-friendly option known for reliability and avoid models with common complaints. A solid choice is the [insert model name], praised for its value and durability.

The mesh system might be beneficial only if you have the means to afford it.
