I'm hopeful rockstar will bring RDR2 to PC soon, but hold off until next-gen consoles launch like they did with GTA V. There hasn't been enough engaging AAA experiences lately, and waiting another year for RDR2 feels frustrating. I remind myself not to buy a PS4 just yet, but we'll find out. This game was one of my all-time favorites. Do you know anything else about it?

Most people only know about Rockstar Games from what they themselves experience. I think they probably won’t wait for the Next Gen consoles before launching. They usually release PC versions later—like GTA SA, GTA V—since console players tend to spend more on games. This approach is known as price skimming. The PC version is expected in Spring/Summer 2019. It’s certain they’ll put it on PC. GTA V still feels fresh thanks to its online features, and Rockstar confirmed that Read Dead Redemption 2 will have an even bigger online experience than GTA V. Why would they invest more effort if it brings in less profit?

They’re likely to follow a similar approach as with GTA 5, introducing the PC version at a later date.

I know how it feels to struggle with reading. That line sounds frustrating—why would you want that droid so much? What’s the point of being the Emperor?

As a Star Wars fan, I immediately noticed R2D2 and thought, "What?"

Imagine a strategy where Rockstar pushes the project to multiple platforms—launching it on today’s consoles, enhancing it for future systems, and finally bringing it to PC.
