Over the last week I've experienced power supply problems recently after upgrading to a 750w unit. Now my PC is running with triple RAM, yet it's only accessing 12GB while the specs say 16GB. RAM readings in BIOS show triple the amount, but the CPU-Z says triple. I'm unsure how to resolve this issue. Any advice would be appreciated.

Windows evaluates RAM usage based on system monitoring and drivers, but accuracy depends on hardware support and driver updates.

I believe the problem might be there, but I’m not sure how to resolve it since both my RAM sticks look like they’re set to G-SPI and I don’t know what else to do.

Hey, I'm just starting to use this site. Windows shows I have 12GB of RAM.

It might be one memory card or one memory port that’s defective because of a power surge or problem. Check first that there’s no dust or poor connection between the RAM modules and their sockets. Power off your machine, remove the RAM sticks, attempt to reinsert them... enter BIOS settings and verify if it recognizes all four sticks. If not, proceed to test each stick individually and each slot separately. Power down your PC and install a single stick in the farthest slot from the CPU. Try launching the system. Success indicates that slot and stick are functional; failure suggests either the stick or slot is faulty. Continue testing other slots until you identify the issue.

I understand, it can be confusing. Do you mean removing all the RAM modules completely or just replacing them?

All is functioning properly now. My RAM stick wasn’t working, so I removed all of them except the second one, which was fine. Thanks for your assistance! You really know how to help. Now I’ve picked up a few new tips. You’re amazing! 🎉
